I have found out that I am NOT SPECIAL. And by special I mean I am not the only cynical one that found the Pain arc to be pointless and a waste of 100 chapters. All there were were pointless destruction and killing and various resurrections that defeated the point of pointless killing. At least now I know that I'm not the only one glad that Sasuke is back. Though I'm sure it won't be long before I get mad at his illogical thoughts.

Anyway, my physics class is incorporating so much calculus that I feel like I'm going to get another C-. Luckily the assignment this week hasn't gotten to integrals yet, or I'd be very sad. There is a little differential calculus but since our teacher went over that question I'm all good now. \o/ Teacher is really nice but she covers so much during class that I feel my brain may explode. Or it could be because of the calculus. How's that for thinking I was out of calculus? I should have knocked on wood after thinking I was free. :/

I'm pretty sure I did poorly on my assignment that was due today but hey, it's only 1% right? Right? :/ I'll start on my next assignment tonight, since I'm afraid I might need the time. Aside from assignments and labs, not much else is going on at school. Classes are packed with notes (not quite as much as bio yet) and are very boring otherwise. This is why I spend all my time at home on the computer. Except for today. I went on a cleaning spree after I finished my lab for almost two hours. My room doesn't actually look any different but there's definitely more room for me to do my homework now. That's probably a good thing. Before that though, I started making a One Piece pimp post. >_> I have almost four characters done but I know I'm going to get bored of it. LOOK PEOPLE, ONE PIECE IS GREAT ENOUGH THAT I'VE EVEN STARTED A PIMP POST. ME, THE GREATEST PROCRASTINATOR ON EARTH, HAS STARTED WRITING A PIMP POST. I'm probably not going to write that much for it until I start rereading the manga again though, just so I have lots of pretty/funny pictures to add to it.

Anyway, aside from school, I've somehow gotten my sister into reading. I think it's awesome, even though she reads more fic than her textbook. I do the same so I can't exacly scold her for doing so. But the fact that she's reading is fantastic. People should definitely read more. Now, I shall go and read too. XD

As some of my flist has already done, I went and watched Star Trek today with brother and Sab. It was good. It makes me want to watch the series! But I've watched clips of it in my Chem class and the quality wasn't that good so I doubt I will. I might try for another movie though.

Anyway, I didn't know until afterwards, but Zachary Quinto from Heroes and Jennifer Morrison from House were in it! As Spock and Kirk's mom! I knew they looked familiar but I couldn't place it! And Sulu was played by John Cho who I've never watched before, but he looked familiar in the movie (due to comercials of Harold and Kumar I'm guessing). And young James Kirk! He looked very familiar but the only movie I recognize him from is Evan Almighty...

I'm impressed I even recognize that many of them. Yay for watching certain english series!

Anyway, school started two weeks ago, one assignment handed in, lots of calculus done, and lots of youtubing. Watched every subbed episode of Family Outing (except for 7 and 8 because 7 isn't completed. D: ). It was funny at the beginning, and some of it is still funny, but I'm now mostly watching for Chunhee/Yejin moments. Seriously, new OTP! (though I've also been rewatching Idol Army with 2PM and SHINee a lot since they are adorable) I need more funny variety shows or funny dramas to watch since I've been eating a lot of cheesecake lately. I need to burn off that fat by laughing!

Interestingly enough, I've been writing some since school started again. Started a new story and added stuff to existing stories. Naruto fic is underway again! My brother will be happy. XD

this is going to be an odd request but since i'm still debating whether i should marry cliff or not in harvest moon, i've started watching a lot of suju/shinee/2pm stuff. since i already know lots about suju, my request is for my flist to list characteristics of the members of shinee and 2pm! PLEASE? and if possible, how they interact with each other? (within the band, though if you can tell me about them with each other too, i'd be grateful. :D)

Having rethought my job through, I realized I only have to work 5 hours a week. That's less than half of how much I originally thought I had to do. \o/ I also went to see a counsellor today, and it seems having more credits is ok? I'll definitely have to talk to the UBC Bio department first though, since I want to take physics at my current school...

And then! I checked my flist and YUNHO'S BIRTHDAY IS FEB 16 AND JAEJOONG'S BIRTHDAY IS FEB 4? LOL. Seriously, funniest thing I heard today. XD Someone mentioned on the post that DBSK gets to celebrate 8 birthdays which is pretty awesome. But at this rate, Changmin and Yoochun is going to come out and say they were born on different days too. Oh boys, you guys are so unique! At least it's not a Lunar calendar birthday where their birthdate would change every year. It's hard enough keeping up with my grandparent's birthdays.

More school stuff since this is the best marks I'm ever going to get again, 35/36 on physics test! A mark off for not drawing the diagram complete enough. At least no marks were taken off for sig figs. Though I guess it might be because I didn't make any mistakes? hm.

I'm supposed to be doing a meme about my top ten sexiest guys, but I really have no idea who they might be. So instead, I'll talk about the movie I just watched. (and probably school)

Went out to watch Valkyrie with my siblings and aflaweddesign -- I thought it was pretty good, though I don't think my sister liked it much. I never actually plan to watch war movies (because they usually end badly) and I didn't plan to watch this one, but I guess it's good I did. A little more knowledge about history in my head.

So before the movie started, I recognized Wolverine from a really obscure shot of him at the beginning of a trailer but I didn't know who Ben Affleck was from another trailer until I saw his name. Also! I had to ask if the guy was Tom Cruise when he appeared in the movie. What does this say about me? Probably that I need to watch more movies.

The movie was seriously suspenseful--I was biting my finger during the second half of the movie, don't know if anyone noticed. I thought the Lieutenant was going to be a snitch, but turns out I like him best of all. A very cool kid. Er, guy. I won't say anymore, in case I spoil it.

In other, surprising, news, I did most of my homework last night/this morning! I returned my Physics textbook so I went to the library to borrow one and had to return it early this morning so I had to finish my homework before returning it. Just have to write a summary and it'll be ready for handing in on monday. XD Now, off to read/write.

So, it was my sister's birthday, yesterday, now, I suppose. I slept in really late, probably because I've been having an average of 5 1/2 hours of sleep during the week. However, that's besides the point. We went to eat sushi. We had cake on Friday, which was when my sister went out to celebrate with her friends. My brother and I went along also. It was ~$15 per person at this really fancy-like Westernized Chinese restaurant. There were 23 people there. After dinner, most of them came back to our place to eat cake. We did, of course, but mostly, people were just loud. There was drinking involved, even though it was pretty much only my sister that just turned legal. I allowed someone to play our piano and that enforced my fear of it. I don't know why songs have so many low notes.

We play video games, mah jong, spoons, and about 2 minutes of Cranium. People left around 2AM. Which is probably my back hurts.

School officially started today, even though I went there to volunteer yesterday. All classes were in session, and there were even notes given out. We had to do a lab in Physics which I'm not too confident about. Hopefully it'll be ok. Found out we do have a lab for Mircobi which is sad because I was hoping for one Thursday I wouldn't have to go to school early. No cigar. :( Found out I can return my Physical Chem textbook though! :D I can save $100!


SO. I finally finished catching up on Naruto last night. I'm pretty sure I didn't start earlier because I heard how stupid Sasuke was being. And I didn't know where to start. However, someone else led me there and I started at chapter 280, or the middle of it, just when Gaara got revived.

Question! What happened to Sai? And Tsunade's seal on her forehead? What was that again?

so, in other news, i had to go to school today for the new student orientation which was ok. it made me wake up early, so i should be going to sleep soon, and i bought my books. tomorrow. school. starts. i, er. i don't think i'm quite ready for it yet. WHY IS IT AT 8:30AM??

aflaweddesign MADE ME GET A PAID ACCOUNT. IT'S NOT PERMANENT, BUT IT'S STILL AWESOME. I won't be spending so much this year because of this (idk what i'm talking about, it's only ~$25 right? T_T). I HAVE AWESOME USERPICS NOW.

Aaaand, because someone has been waiting for it (me), I have calculated that I have spent ~$140 in 2008, not including the presents my dad bought me. Bonjour Paris was $108, and A Week Holiday was around $50, I think. THIS IS LESS THAN $400! I HAVE REACHED MY GOAL (or not reached it, depending). Of the $140, ~$24 was spent on books. Most of which HAVE NOT ARRIVED YET. I want to cancel it and change the order, but I don't think they'll let me. :( LAGOON ENGINE, FOR WHY DO YOU MAKE ME WAIT SO LONG?

Hopefully my mom won't ask what I spent that $25 on.

It's been a pretty good year, overall. Of course, I'm the type of person that forgets any drama that could have happened. The bad parts were of course my grades. I'll definitely try to work harder this year, next term, and so on.

I didn't do anything special to celebrate--drank wine and watched She's All That. I actually don't have much to say.

I will say I went over to Ana's, just because I like to keep track of stuff. Slept over and finished chapter 3 of fic! Everyone's probably getting sick of me pimping it, but I found it funny so I still like it. :D They fed me a lot over there though, so I think I gained a few pounds. XD I wanted to buy the yogurt cake, but there wasn't any. :( AND LAPTOPS AT BEST BUY MAKE ME WANT A NEW ONE. I want to give mine to my brother and then get a new one for myself. -_- I'm so selfish.

Resolutions?

1. work harder in school. seriously, this is all i care about. this is all my mom cares about.

Ok, great news! I finished the book waaay early this morning! The Edge of the Mysterious World is awesome. Really. I've always liked history when I read about it for fun, and it was fun. Of course, I'm not sure if the history in the book was entirely correct, but now I know stuff! Like, I've always learnt that the Jewish were put in concentration camps and were hunted by the Nazi, but homosexuals, and Modern Artists (Entartete "Kunst"), and Gypsies I did not know much about. Seriously, aside from some of the German words that I didn't understand, it was very enlightening. And it's a KIDS book. I don't remember learning much about the World Wars until somewhere in the middle of high school. I was seriously a bad student in elementary.

Aside from reading the book, I started writing an xxxHolic fic because I couldn't access the Naruto one. I got inspiration after reading (Un) Deniable Loves and Eligible. Though mostly by the latter, I think. Hopefully I will finish it, and then I will be able to pimp the Naru fic some more. XD I seriously wrote ~550 words last night. In 1-2 hours. For me, it's an achievement, ok?!

Today, went out to eat Sui Long Bao! That place at Crystal is definitely the beest place to have it. It was very good. :D And afterwards went to Metro and bought jeans. JEANS. Me, buying clothes, unheard of! And jeans, at that! Who's ever seen me wearing jeans? o_o Aaand, after that, went to eat sushi. It was a looong wait for the table but oh well. The food came fast. XD We ate quite a bit today.

Anyway, I think I will now either try and write for either fics, or read Slam Dunk again. I know, I just reread it what, last year? BUT IT'S SO GOOD. My computers do seem to be disagreeing with the disc though. Hopefully it'll work now.


[EDIT] SO INSTEAD OF DOING ANY OF THE ABOVE, I WENT AND WATCHED DBSK'S PERFORMANCE ON SBS GAYO DAEJUN. AJLFSKLJGLJIELJSAGLJD SERIOUSLY. THEY ARE USUALLY ALREADY FULL OF AWESOME BUT THEIR PERFORMANCES THERE TAKES THE FRICKIN CAKE. HOW LONG DID THEY REHEARSE? now i'm a little worried about the Kouhaku performance.... :/ BUT, THAT. ♥♥

UM, UM, BECAUSE I'M SUPPOSED TO BE WRITING FUNNY (not very successfully), I HAVE TAKEN TO DOING SOMETHING ELSE. LIKE READING FIC. THIS FIC IN PARTICULAR. IT IS THE SINGLE MOST FUNNIEST THING I'VE READ SINCE aflaweddesign 's line in our fic:

"No!" Kiba proclaimed, eyes meeting Sasuke's, "I will never let you go, my love! No one can have you but me!" He then turned to look back at Naruto, his face holding a look of unyielding determination. "You can't have him! He's my babies' papa!"

Disregarding the lack of spell-check, it really is the funniest thing I've today (aside from lines from the chapter we're writing.). For those who are curious, I suppose I should warn that it's SasuNaru. BUT IT'S FUNNY SO IF YOU'RE NOT COMPLETELY OPPOSED TO IT (ana), READ IT! :D (c'mon, they're married! it's very funny! XD)

We had turkey today! It was pretty good, though I didn't finish my plate. My sisters friends came over for dinner, and they brought stuffing and cake. It was fun--played mah jong after dinner, and after that, played smash bros.

I told my siblings that I was going to finish reading the book by today, but it didn't work out that way. I'll definitely try to get it finished, and that's actually going to be priority, but I'll feel bad without finishing my part in the Naruto fic. I'm already writing much less than my better half in this partnership... agh, oh well. I'm a reader, not a writer. XD

My brother woke me up today, telling me it was 2:30, almost 3PM so I woke up and then I found out it was only 11:30AM. D<

So, I'll actually start with Christams Eve. I watched two movies: Pokemon Heroes and The Chronicles of Narnia. Watched Heroes with my brother and mocked all the little details because we're mean like that. Then wrote some for Naruto fanfic and afterward watched Narnia while eating dinner. I had previously watched Narnia in theaters whenever it was that it came out, but watching it again now makes me want to watch the sequel. Therefore I'll have to ask Vanessa for it. XD

Today, we went out to eat lunch at a congee place and then came home to watch Iron Man. It wasn't what I expected but it was a good movie nontheless. Then we went out to eat a lobster dinner. We had a bit of left overs but we finished most of that during our game of mah jong. And now I am tired. But I should probably write for the fic some...

I passed. WITH A C. I KINDA LOVE INTEGRALS.

I'm not terribly happy about my Microbio mark though. I was hoping for a B-. Instead I got a C+. :( However, I'm very very relieved about my Chem mark. I don't know how I did on my final (terribly, I'm sure), but I got an A-. HAPPY DAYS. :D I'm not going to kill myself for failing!

Annual Christmas shopping was yesterday. I guess that was very lucky because now it's snowing. Granted, it's been snowing since Friday, but it wasn't yesterday, and now I don't have to go out when it's freezing! :D Oh, but I hope you're not stuck at UBC or something, Sarah!

So shopping wasn't really shopping because we're not very good at being girls. Or something. Just ate there then went to Ana's. Which was fun, but I forgot it was a weekday. Sorry for bothering you guys so late!

K, so I finished one book: The Tales of Beedle the Bard. I thought there was going to be notes from Hermione too, but I guess not. The little stories were pretty interesting. That last story was in one of the books already though. And Dumbledore's notes were a bit odd. IDK. It may be because I never really liked Dumbledore either. But hey, altogether it was pretty interesting. Recommended, especially since proceeds go to charity!
